Supporting Children, Teens, and Young Adults Through Big Emotions

Helping young people move through anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, school challenges, autism, self-esteem challenges, and social struggles with evidence-based, developmentally attuned therapy including play therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques.

Welcome, I'm Rachel.

I'm an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #143608) based in Sherman Oaks, CA.

I specialize in supporting children, teenagers, and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, grief, divorce, emotional regulation challenges, ADHD, social struggles, self-esteem issues, and family conflict utilizing play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, narrative, and person-centered approaches.

With years of experience working across schools, counseling centers, special education programs, and community organizations, I bring a warm, strengths-based, and developmentally attuned approach to therapy. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and empowered while helping families strengthen connection and communication.

Comprehensive Care for Every Stage of Your Journey

I offer a range of services designed to address the unique needs of every individual. Whether you’re seeking support for emotional challenges, navigating life transitions, or looking to improve overall well-being, I'm here to provide personalized care that fosters healing and growth.

Child Therapy

Children often communicate through play, movement, and creativity before they have the words to describe what they’re feeling.

Therapy becomes a safe place where your child can explore emotions, try out new skills, and feel supported every step of the way.

Teen Therapy

Teens often arrive carrying heavy emotional loads, pressure from school, social dynamics, anxiety, sadness, self-doubt, or a desire to feel understood.

I offer a space that is grounded, validating, and non-judgmental. I honor each teen’s voice and autonomy while supporting healthy relationships within the family.

Young Adult Counseling

Transitions into college or early adulthood can bring both opportunity and uncertainty.

This space is collaborative, grounding, and centered on who you are becoming. I will help you work through navigating the stresses of your 20s, including building new relationships, finding a career path, and fostering adult relationships with family.

Parent Coaching

Practical, compassionate guidance to help you understand your child’s needs, strengthen connection, and respond to challenging behaviors with confidence and clarity. I work through an attachment-focused lens.

I move at a pace that feels safe for everyone.
